I've still got to texture the sidewalk and some of the ground areas, and also sweeten some of the grunge and brick to make them more irregular (more on this later), but I'm pretty much done texturing this and can move onto lighting it.
I'm a CG Supervisor in movies, commercials, film, TV, and video games, and started this blog before graduating from the Animation MFA program in USC's School of Cinematic Arts in 2009. I model, texture, lookdev, light, composite, rig and animate, and create 2D vector illustrations.
My grad school thesis film explores the brownstone in which my mother's family lived over the course of four decades as she describes her memories of her mother. Using 3D environments and mood- and art-directed lighting, I hope to bring a personal story to a universal audience.
